CALENDAR OF FUNDRAISING EVENTS AVAILABLE ON-LINE
Over the past year Volunteer Victoria has maintained a community calendar of fundraising events as a service for the local non profit sector. Now there is an on-line calendar available, developed by the local chapter of the Order of St. John. The group took on this initiative as a community service project and VV has provided input and consultation in the development of the calendar. This resource will allow you to view upcoming fundraising events and to input your own event on-line. The calendar can be accessed at:

Established on January 13, 2005, the Downtown Victoria Business Association (DVBA) is Victoria's voice and advocate for a vibrant and prosperous Downtown. Our mission is to make Downtown Victoria the destination of choice for Greater Victoria residents and visitors - for shopping, dining, entertainment, and other services.
The DVBA participates in collaborative initiatives to market, beautify, and improve the Downtown business area, and to provide a clean and safe business environment. VOLUNTEER VICTORIA
Mission Statement: Enriching the community by promoting and supporting a high standard of volunteerism. Concerned citizens ran various volunteer resource centres until 1974 when the Greater Victoria Volunteer Society was formed to operate the Victoria Volunteer Bureau. Volunteer Victoria now has many wonderful resources available to you: their website provides volunteer and employment information and many resources, there is also a Volunteer Victoria Library with hundreds of magazines, reports, books and videos for you to borrow.
