Public Service Annoucement Policy for the Arts
Calendar
The Arts Calendar is a weekly service provided by the CACGV to promote
exhibitions, activities, events, workshops, tours and employment opportunities
among CACGV members. This is a service for members. If you would like to become a CACGV member, click here.
Your submission will appear both on our website and
in our Arts Calendar emails that go out to all of our members every
second Wednesday.
Submission guidelines are as follows:
1 ) Title the name of your event
2 ) Description a brief description of you event
3 ) Where the location of the event or activity.
4 ) When the time and date of the event or activity (day, date,
time)
4 ) How Much the price of admission (if free, please say so)
5 ) FMI (for more information) the name, phone number, email
and/or web address where more information can be found by the readers
of the Arts Calendar
6 ) Your email your email address in case we have any questions
about your submission (this is for CACGV use only and will not be publicized)
7 ) Your phone number your phone number in case we have any
questions about your submission (this is for CACGV use only and will not
be publicized)
7 ) Type in which section in our arts calendar would you like
your event? The options are: Visual Arts, Musical Arts, Literary Arts,
Workshops and Classes, Performing Arts, Film & Video, Call for Entry,
Arts Tours...or make up your own section.
Inclusion Policy: In order to prevent excessive file sizes, submissions
for ongoing events (more than two weeks in duration) will not be included
in Arts Calendar emails every time. PSAs are posted on the website for
the entire duration of the event.
Deadline: Submissions for PSAs must be received
by the CACGVat least 3 weeks before the event.
